THE  SCHOOL

 

Madras College is a comprehensive secondary school, in St Andrews, Fife.  The School was founded in 1833 by the Rev. Dr. Andrew Bell.  It currently occupies two sites, both of which are listed buildings. Pupils in S1 to S3 study at the Kilrymont Road site, and those in S4-S6 are in the town centre site off South Street.  Most staff teach in both buildings. A major current issue is the planning for a new Madras, on a single site.
